Seton Development Board
Since its founding in 1977, members have raised more than $7 million for special Seton projects, including the Marialice Shivers Regional Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and the new Patient Pavilion..
Today the board counts 95 active members, 96 associate members, and more than 450 associate group members in Giddings, Highland Lakes, Horseshoe Bay, La Grange, Lakeway and Lexington, who help fundraise and "friendraise" for Seton.
Funds raised from the board's annual gala benefit three areas:
- Seton Medical Center Austin for equipment, renovation and new construction
- Nurse Scholarship Endowment for financial assistance to Seton nurses or to Seton associates entering the nursing field
- Sister Gertrude Levy Endowment for the Seton Community Health Centers serving working poor families: Seton Kozmetsky, Seton McCarthy and Seton Topfer
