Elizabeth Ann Seton Board
The Elizabeth Ann Seton Board (EASB) is a group of 75 women who for more than 20 years have raised essential funding for the Seton Community Health Centers through the annual Evening Under the Stars Gala. The three Seton Community Health Centers--Seton Kozmetsky, Seton McCarthy and Seton Topfer--provide health care and social services to working poor families throughout Austin. The clinics provide a medical home for thousands of Austin's families, including referrals to physician specialists, hospitalization and surgery. Half of the clinics' 15,000 clients are children.
The 2010 gala was held Saturday, April 24, at the Polo Club in Dripping Springs and raised more than $500,000 for the Seton Community Health Centers and the Sister Gertrude Levy Endowment for the Poor, a permanent endowment that helps sustain the long-term growth and operations of the clincis for years to come.
