More than 500 guests showed up in their best 80’s-themed outfits for the first Back In Brack fundraising event, hosted by THE FIFTY at La Zona Rosa on October 27, 2012. Heartfelt thanks to THE FIFTY and all our Back in Brack guests, underwriters and sponsors who helped raise more than $200,000 to support technology for complex care at University Medical Center Brackenridge! It’s not too late to Back Brack – click here to make a donation now!

Who is THE FIFTY?

Bold. Innovative. Next generation. These are words used to describe members of THE FIFTY, but the truth is they are regular people who care deeply about our community and our future. They have committed to tackle one of the biggest projects that their generation will ever witness in Austin: the expansion of academic medicine and clinical research, and a new teaching hospital to house it all. They understand the need to support our current doctors and medical students – and they are about to change the destiny of our community forever.
