The Seton Fund raises funds to support the Daughters of Charity health ministry in Central Texas.  We support seven Seton hospitals, three Seton community health centers, and other Seton facilities in the metropolitan Austin area.

One Mission. 10 Years.
The Central Texas community is invited to a 10th anniversary event celebrating Seton Highland Lakes Health System's dedicated service to the residents of the Highland Lakes area. and our strong commitment to the future.
Monday, May 19, events kick off with a special ceremony at 11:30 a.m. Tours of the hospital will be hoffered from noon to 3 p.m. and there will be a public open house from 4 to 6 p.m.

Brackenridge Benefits from Statesman Capitol 10,000 

The 2008 Statesman Capitol 10,000 raised more than $180,000 for UMC Brackenridge. It's the largest 10K in Texas and is an annual rite of spring. Proceeds benefit trauma services, the Brain & Spine Center, and a medical literacy program at Shivers Cancer Center. The event was presented by Guaranty Bank.

The Seton Fund Prepares to Grant $50,000 in Scholarships 

The Seton Fund is pleased to announce that preparations are under way for the 2008 Seton Nurse Scholarship Endowment Awards. Through the support of our donors, this endowment has grown to more than $2 million. In the past two years we have granted a total of $35,000 in scholarships to Seton associates pursuing or advancing their nursing careers. This year, the opportunity for associates is even greater as we are going to grant a total of $50,000. Golf for Kids in Highland Lakes
The 5th Annual Emory Bellard-Spike Dykes Kids Care-a-Van Golf Classic is scheduled for Saturday, August 2nd. The weekend kicks off with the the region's biggest tailgate party on Friday, August 1 The next day, more than 200 golfers will take part in a scramble tournament. Care-A-Van serves health needs of underserved and uninsured children in the Highland Lakes area.
